Cisco Brewers Portsmouth Memorial Day 5K, held annually in May

Due to social distancing mandates, the 2020 5K transitioned to a virtual race. The virtual 5K was a fun week-long event allowing participants to remain safe while still enjoying the opportunity to take part in this legacy race in 2020. Over 600 runners and walkers participated from the comfort of their homes, neighborhoods and favorite secluded routes between Sunday, May 17th and Sunday, May 24th for the most unique 5K experience anywhere (or ever)! All proceeds directly benefitted Krempels Center.

King Challenge, held annually in October

The King Challenge is a cycling event to raise funds for Krempels Center. In 2020, due to the evolving nature of social distancing guidelines, the 10th annual King Challenge was held virtually from Friday, October 9th through Sunday, October 18th. This event has a special connection to the King family, through the local cycle-racing legends Robbie and Teddy King, who are actively involved with supporting the ride.
